Introducing the Pumaradio PR-355LF: Your School's New Communication Champion

Good communication is the backbone of a safe and efficient school environment. From coordinating playground duty to managing school trips, or even in unexpected situations, clear and instant communication is vital. That's why we're thrilled to introduce the Pumaradio PR-355LF, a two-way radio designed specifically with the unique demands of schools like yours in mind. I'm sure by now every school will now about Martyn's Law.

Organizations must establish clear, reliable procedures for evacuation, invacuation, lockdown, and emergency messaging to ensure instructions reach staff and the public immediately.

Key Communication Requirements

• Tiered Messaging: Systems must allow targeted instructions—for example, directing front of school admin & office staff to evacuate while teachers and staff receive lockdown orders.

• Two-Way Information Flow: Emergency plans must account for critical updates traveling back from operational teams to the central response coordinator.

• Audit Trails & Logging: Regulators look for demonstrable proof of readiness; organizations increasingly use automated notification tools that log when alerts are dispatched, delivered, and acknowledged.

• Infrastructure Resilience: Communication methods must function even if primary power or network infrastructure is disrupted during an incident.

The Pumaradio PR-355LF was designed with all this in mind. The PR-355LF school walkie talkie is available as a licensed radio. Having an Ofcom Business Radio Licence allows you greater privacy than licence free, no public radios are allowed on the band. It also allows us to turn encryption on, giving you the ultimate peace of mind that your emergency communications are heard by and only by other staff. So satisfy the Martyn's Law requirements for a solid, private two-way radio system with the PR-355LF UHF two way radio. Value for money, you won't find a better licensed radio for school use.

You might remember the PR-350LF, our top-selling radio for schools in 2025. The PR-355LF takes everything you loved about its predecessor and elevates it, offering all the same robust features in a more compact package that's ready to exceed your expectations.

Built for the Bumps and Buzz of School Life

We know school life can be unpredictable. That's why the PR-355LF isn't just another radio; it's a durable, reliable tool built to withstand the rigours of daily school use. Forget flimsy plastic—this radio boasts a robust metal chassis that can handle accidental drops and heavy use without missing a beat.

Plus, with its large, ultra-reliable 2000mAh lithium-ion battery, you can trust that your team will stay connected throughout the longest school days, reducing the hassle of frequent recharges or battery replacements. The PR-355LF can be directly charged with just a USB C cable (included).

Crystal-Clear, Private Conversations When it Matters Most

Imagine a busy school day, and your critical communications are interrupted by static or, worse, outsiders. With the Pumaradio PR-355LF in the licensed variant, those worries are a thing of the past. Our licensed radios feature business grade, private channels, ensuring that only authorised school staff can hear and use your communication lines. This means no unwanted interference and complete peace of mind that your sensitive discussions remain confidential.
